This Franciscan Church and Monastery and the surrounding gardens were built in 1546 by the Benedictine monks of the abbey of Saint-Pons.
The peaceful and relaxing gardens feature a rose garden with pergolas, terrace gardens, orange, lemon, pomegranate and Magnolia trees and fantastic views of Nice.
The church has a museum. Henri Matisse is buried in the cemetery.
Located near the Regina where Queen Victoria stayed and also next to the Matisse Museum.
