The recently renovated Phoenician in Scottsdale, Arizona is a Luxury Collection Resort that offers visitors three distinctive choices of accommodations. The Phoenician Resort and Spa luxury hotel, The Canyon Suites which is Arizona’s only Forbes Five Star, AAA Five Diamond hotel, and The Phoenician Residences, a private fractional ownership residential community.


The Phoenician covers 250 acres and is located just nine miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

The Phoenician has 577 guestrooms, 64 suites, 4 presidential suites. Decorated in the warm tones of the Sonoran Desert the guestrooms are 600 square feet, suites are one and two bedroom and start at 1200 square feet and the presidential suites are approximately 1,800 square feet with dramatic vistas, balconies, fireplaces, kitchens, a complimentary poolside cabana and airport transportation.


Canyon Suites








The elegant Canyon Suites comprise of 60 rooms and feature exclusive services, a private infinity pool, residential style accommodations and a complimentary breakfast for guests. This boutique resort is fully contained within the Phoenician Resort and Spa and guests have access to all resort services and amenities.


The Phoenician Residences are made up of two and three bedroom villas with stone fireplaces, private plunge pools and spas and outdoor kitchens. Owners have access to all resort services and amenities. It is also possible to rent these spaces for the night when available.

The Phoenician Pools includes the iconic hand-tiled Mother of Pearl pools, an adult-only pool, a kids area and three recreational-styled pools


The Athletic Club







This state-of-the-art Athletic Club has “Fitness on Demand” technology, outdoor tennis courts, pickleball, basketball and is open 24 hours a day.


The Phoenician Spa





The Phoenician Spa features a Boutique, a Nail Salon, a Dry Bar, rooftop pool, along with 24 treatment rooms, a vitality pool, steam and sauna. There is also a Quiet Relaxation Room and fitness center for personal training. The rooftop pool offers 360-degree views of the resort, 8 cabanas, 2 rain showers and an outdoor fireplace.


The Phoenician Resort and Spa offers a variety of dining options that includes Mowry & Cotton, J&G Steakhouse, The Phoenician Tavern, Kalio Kabobery, Thirsty Camel Lounge, The Marketplace, Afternoon Tea and wine tasting at the Praying Monk.



Mowry & Cotton

Mowry & Cotton features modern American cuisine “using the timeless cooking techniques of fire, coal and smoke”. The special feature is the hearth oven.


We had a delicious meal here with the Veal meatballs and the brussel sprouts being our favorites.

Praying Monk

Named after the unique rock formation on Camelback Mountain

A working wine cellar and private dining venue with a Renaissance-era interior,

Barrel-vaulted ceilings and European antiques.


Other dining venues include:

The Marketplace-European-style café features pastries, sandwiches, pizza, specialty coffees and Gelato

Thirsty Camel- The lobby lounge with sweeping views of the resort and fire pits on the terrace.

Afternoon Tea – House-made finger sandwiches, scones, desserts with a selection of tea

Kalio Kabobery – Casual lunch poolside with kabobs, salads and sandwiches.

The Phoenician Golf Club

18-hole course recently redesigned. New Club cars with leather upholstery, touch screen displays with “Shark Experience” technology for music, sports, news along with golf tips and GPS
