Chateau Niagara grows produces wines of a variety of Vinifera wines including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Saperavi, Turan and Blaufrankisch.

In June of 2006 our odyssey began when we purchased 31 acres of prime farmland on the banks of 18 Mile creek in Newfane and began growing high quality vinifera wine grapes. Varieties include well known wine grapes Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Blaufrankish as well as some exotic varieties- Saperavi and Turan. These grapes are part of long term effort to create very innovative wines as well as classic styles interpreted with a sense of the Niagara Lake Plain influence. The vineyard and winery are the lifelong dream of the owners Jim and Kathy Baker who share a passion for the land, the wine and good food. “

The Wine Club

· Be the first to be notified of new vintages and limited releases

· Bring in friends for a free wine tasting for up to four persons

· Enjoy discounts of 20% on club allotments and bottle purchases year round.

Features of the Club

· ·Two allotments of six bottles of wine twice a year (May 1st and November 1stt). Allotment will include not yet released wines, limited production wines and library choices. Wines will be discounted 20% of retail price. Wines will be shipped at member’s expense unless you notify us that you will pick them up.

· ·Members receive free tastings for up to four people per visit.

· ·Member only events (member and one guest). Two of these events will coincide with release of your six bottle allotment. These will include such events as barrel tasting, food pairings and recipes for new wines and more!

· ·Newsletter prior to club allotment release This is an opportunity to review what wines are in the allotment and decide if you want to make substitutions as well as notify us if you wish to pick up your wines. Please make substitutions no later than 7 days prior to release date.

· ·Discount of 20% on bottle purchases year round.

· ·Purchases during the six months prior to allotment may be used toward the six bottle requirement
